Saving Project...

Site work, paving and renovation of a mixed-use development in Greensboro, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium; and for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project will fund various facility improvements such as refinishing of eight hardwood basketball/volleyball courts and replacement of all indoor soccer fields and the existing facility roof. Exterior improvements include grading, site work, and paving of an overflow parking lot and construction of an additional entrance to the facility. These upgrades will address safety issues, allow for more programming and tournament play, add much needed parking, and allow for the attraction and retention of large athletic events. This project is currently in the City of Greensboro FY 2021-2030 CIP. Per the owner, as of May 1, 2024, construction started in mid-April 2024. Information regarding a design team or a general contractor has not been disclosed by the owner. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
