Phase One to include - single pad arena; 200+ seats; six change rooms; two referee rooms; lobby/warming viewing area; washrooms; arena offices; four lane walking track; multi-purpose rooms (total area of approximately 62,308 square feet). Phase Two to include - multi-purpose community room with storage; commercial kitchen (total 7,936 square feet). Phase Three to include - double gymnasium; change rooms; storage (total 10,080 square feet). Phase Four to include - second ice pad; 100+ seats; six change rooms; two referee rooms; and lobby/warming viewing area (total 35, 760 square feet). Phase Five to include - seniors activity centre (6,194 square feet). Phase Six to include - fitness centre (4,864 square feet). TIMELINE: Schematic designs have been completed by the architect. An RFP for project management services was issued in a separate report and has closed; submissions are under review. Further update may be confirmed late fall 2024.
