The construction services (Work) requested in this IFB primarily includes but is not limited to: repairing and enhancing previously damaged Fountain Creek embankment and restoring damaged multi-use trail. All of the construction will be within County owned property or within easements /right-of-entry obtained by the County. This Project is being funded through the following sources: Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and El Paso County.The Project is exempt from Davis-Bacon requirements. This project does not have CDOT oversight. A BID SECURITY in the form of a certified check, cashiers check or bid bond made payable to El Paso County in the amount of 5% of your bid total must accompany your bid. The successful Contractor will be required to furnish 100% Performance and Payment Bonds.
