Project includes bridge replacement at the South Fork Weber Creek (Bridge No. 25C0033, PM 4.4), widening improvements with horizontal and vertical realignment of Newtown Road at each bridge approach side, safety railing, improvements to roadway drainage and retaining walls. Other items or details not mentioned above, that are required by the plans, Standard Plans, Standard Specifications, or these Special Provisions must be performed, constructed or installed. LOCATION/DESCRIPTION OF THE WORK: The Project is located along Newtown Road, in Placerville in the County of El Dorado. The Work to be done is shown on the Plans, and generally consists of, but is not limited to: A. The Contract time is Ninety (90) WORKING DAYS. For bonding purposes, the anticipated Project cost is less than $ 3,300,000. Bid security must be provided with each bid. Bid security must be in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid for bid and must be cash, a certified check or cashier's check drawn to the order of the County of El Dorado or a Bidder's Bond executed by a surety satisfactory to the County of El Dorado on the form provided in the Proposal section of these Contract Documents.
