Site work and paving for a road / highway in Westby, Wisconsin. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway.
This project consists of reconstructing 1.4 miles of a principal urban arterial roadway through the City of Westby. Existing horizontal and vertical curves and super elevations are deficient and will need to be updated to current standards. Existing storm sewer needs to be analyzed. Analysis of traffic data for possible right-turn lanes. Additional roadway design elements and improvements will include curb and gutter, sidewalk, inlets, and storm sewer within right-of-way. As of August 21, 2020, an engineer has been selected. Construction is not expected to begin prior to 2022.
