As of April 17, 2019, there is an awarded bidder on this project. Construction is anticipated to start at the end of the month. All trades have been awarded. Construction of the Edgemont Sewer Extension Improvements generally consisting construction of 4000 feet of 8" gravity sewer, 4100 feet of 6" force main and a sanitary pump station near the Edgemont center on the southeast side of the Town of Wytheville. Should the apparent low Bid exceed available funds, the Owner reserves the right to negotiate with the apparent low bidder to obtain a contract price within available funds.
