Renovation and addition to a clubhouse / community center in Rowlett, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 1,675-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center; and for the addition of a 1,292-square-foot, one-story above grade clubhouse / community center.
As of September 15, 2016, this project is estimated to begin construction fourth quarter 2016 and will take five to seven months to complete. Bidding for a general contractor is currently underway. The bid will be awarded based on bid price, construction time, experience, prior work with owner, financial capabilities, references, and quality. The project calls for renovation of 1,675 square feet as well as a 1,292 square foot addition to the lower level of an existing community facility. The existing space will be reconfigured and the addition will include a conference room and offices. The existing wood deck of the upper level (above the renovated space) will be removed so a new concrete deck can be installed.
