This project will provide funds for filters, filter processing improvements and the water appropriations permit compliance for the City of Frederick Linganore Water Treatment Plant. The three phases of this project are as follows: Phase I – Evaluation: - Prepare and award of an RFP to evaluate and identify all necessary rehab work – (Completed 03/2017) - Evaluation completed – (01/2018) Phase II – Design/Upgrade Modifications - Prioritize deficiencies/necessary repairs identified in the evaluation report. - Prepare construction drawings with specifications - Hire Design/Builder to design and construct improvements Phase III – Construction - Hire contractor to construct design modifications/upgrades to the Linganore Plant (obtain required permits) This project is included in the city’s fy 2024-2029 Capital Improvement Program.
