The successful Bidder shall furnish all shop drawings, work drawings, labor, materials, equipment, tools, services and incidentals necessary to complete all Work required by these Specifications. The successful Bidder shall perform the Work complete, in place and ready for continuous service and shall include any repairs, replacements, and / or restoration required as a result of damages caused prior to acceptance by the County. The scope of work will consist of replace 1,438 linear feet of eight-inch force main (FM) and 2,829 linear feet of 14-inch force main (FM 33A & 36A RTU #238 & #241). Force main terminates in manhole at 3633 26th Street West and at 34A on 24th Street West. This is the lift station serving the south and east ends of The Bayshore on The Lakes Condominiums and a number of apartments that are over-loaded. The storage capacity is only one third of the total required and the existing 6- inch CIP force main has an approximate peak velocity of just under 10 fps. This lift station ties into the 14-inch CIP force main that has also been identified as requiring replacement. This is part of the MLS 27-A (RTU #138).
