Saving Project...

Demolition and renovation of a water / sewer project in Bradenton, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a water / sewer project; and for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The project calls for the replacement of aging equipment and future expansion and upgrades to the existing water reclamation facility. The updates primarily include (2) 40,212-gallon flow equalization tanks, a covered 10,500-gallon anoxic basin, (2) 18,432-gallon aeration basins, 3,200 sf recharge well building, and 1,488-sf storage area. Also included is the replacement headworks. The headworks is the initial process which reduces the level of pollutants in the incoming domestic and industrial wastewater to a level that will allow the treated wastewater or effluent to be discharged into a stream, stream river or lake. The equipment in the headworks includes pumps, mechanical screens, screening compactors, grit removal systems and grit washing systems. As of December 2022, this project is under construction. Should be complete end of this month.
