Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in West Vancouver, British Columbia. Design plans call for the construction of a 602,752-square-foot, nine-story above grade elderly care / assisted living facility; multi-residential development; and 349-space parking garage.
Construction of a two-phased development: Phase 1 is for a 364 bed Long Term Care home; Phase 2 is for removal of the existing care centre and construction of 200 Independent Living units and 161 seniors' rental units. TIMELINE: Design is underway. Council gave second and third readings to the proposed amending bylaws on June 29, 2026. Once conditions related to approval are completed, the proposed amending bylaws and development permit will be considered for approval. Consulting engineers information are unavailable at this time. Construction schedule may be confirmed pending all permit approvals are in place. Further update in early spring 2027. Construction budget is unreleased.
