This project consists of the replacement of the existing 8-inch aerial sewer crossing and construction of a new 24-inch water main creek crossing along Bingham Drive. The project includes the use of steel H piles and concrete piers to support the pipes, and all other necessary items to complete the work as described herein and shown on the plans. Fayetteville Public Works Coimnission and The City of Fayetteville have an established goal of 10% for Small, Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise participation in construction contracts. The successful bidder shall be required to submit a separate Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. All bidders are notified that North Carolina Statutory Provisions (NCGS Chapter 87, Article 1) as to licensing of Contractors will be observed in receiving, reading, and awarding the Contracts. Fayetteville Public Works Commission and The City of Fayetteville have an established goal of 10% for Small, Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise participation in construction contracts. All bidders are notified that the requirements of the City of Fayetteville Small Disadvantage Business Enterprise Plan for Construction, Procurement and Professional Services shall be adhered to in the submission of all bids and shall be made a part of this contract. The Fayetteville Public Works Commission reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive all informalities concerning bid, or award bid to the lowest responsible bidder or bidders, taking into consideration quality, performance, and the time specified in the proposals for the performance of the contract.
