As of December 2021, the project was released for bid in November 2021. Construction is expected to commence in the late spring / early summer of 2022. The original solicitation is preserved below for your reference. NOVA Parks (a public body) owns and operates the 370-acre Brambleton Regional Park in Ashburn, Virginia. The park is divided between a 250-acre golf course (42180 Ryan Road) and a 120-acre adjoining park site (22377 Belmont Ridge Road). The park site adjoins the 635-acre Beaverdam Reservoir, owned by Loudoun Water. NOVA Parks, in cooperation with Loudoun Water, is planning to develop new park facilities on both its 120-acre park site and the reservoir property. Proposed improvements will include trails, boardwalks, stream and wetland gardens, picnic shelters, interpretive areas, boat storage and launching facilities (for both crew and canoeing and kayaking), park office and maintenance space, public restrooms and roads and parking. All facilities shall be planned and designed to be ADA compliant. NOVA Parks will develop the improvements and manage the facilities and the public access to the reservoir. NOVA Parks is seeking proposals for comprehensive planning, design, permitting and construction administration services for the BRP project. NOVA Parks seeks to engage a qualified firm, joint venture or other single entity, capable of providing the full range of disciplines and professional consulting services needed. The Owner intends to contract with one entity (hereinafter referred to as “Consultant”) that shall be responsible for administering the entire project and managing subconsultants.
