Site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Edmonton, Alberta. Design plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

HLB Rehabilitation (B007): Rehabilitation of the roadway deck; re-coating of the entire structure; repairs to pier bent concrete pedestals; repairs to concrete piers and abutments; and replacement of bearing that were not repaired during the 1995 bridge rehabilitation. HLB Strategic Improvements: Installation of two 4.2m SUPs on the upper deck; widening of the lower east deck sidewalk to 3.7m; rehabilitation of the north and south approaches of the upper deck; and maintenance of the streetcar track and provision of safety barriers. 109 St./CPR Tunnel Waterproofing (B006): Overall safety inspection and condition assessment of the structure and complete an Alberta Transportation BIM inspection; and Rehabilitation of the structure based on the inspection and condition assessment report. CPR -97 Avenue Grade Separation (B008): Overall safety inspection and condition assessment of the structure and complete an Alberta Transportation BIM inspection; and Rehabilitation of the structure based on the inspection and condition assessment report. Project boundaries from the north of 97 Avenue and 109 Street to the South 87 Avenue and 109 Street, to east Saskatchewan Drive and 107 Street. All intersections are to be included in the scope of work along with active mode connections to the University and Saskatchewan Drive. TIMELINE: Design development is underway. Tender and construction timing is dependent on funding approvals. Further update may be available in 2026. *Total project budget is $270 million (budget cycle 2023-2026).
