Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Concord, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for the renovation of a transportation facility; and for the construction of a six-story above grade parking garage.

The Rutherford GO Station Project includes the construction of a new, six-storey multi-level parking structure and integrated station building, as well as significant work to improve access to the station. Also included will be new rail platforms, a second heavy rail track and a road/rail grade separation on busy Rutherford Road. A redesigned surface parking area, kiss and ride and bus loop are also included in the project, and will expand parking and rail corridor infrastructure as required for the Regional Express Rail (RER) Program. The Rutherford Road grade separation will improve capacity, safety, network connectivity, and mobility of pedestrians, cyclists, transit users and motorists along the Rutherford Road corridor. TIMELINE: Most sub trades have been secured through a select / prequalified group of trades. Awarded trades will not be released. Construction began late July / early August 2019. Completion is targeted February 2022. The project team has been awarded is to be delivered under the Design Build Finance model. Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and Metrolinx have awarded a fixed-price contract of $239 million to EllisDon Infrastructure Transit (EDIT) to design, build and finance the Rutherford Station project, in support of the province's GO Rail Expansion program.
