This Negotiated Request for Proposals (the "NRFP") is an invitation by the Regional District of Kootenay Boundary (the "District") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Multi-Disciplinary Construction Services for the Secondary Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Upgrade at the Columbia Pollution Control Centre. The District is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Contractor to provide the project's Deliverables for the District. The District had originally anticipated a more extensive project scope, but after a 3rd party Value Engineering process, several feasible savings were identified and implemented including re-purposing the existing structures for emergency sludge storage. The updated, present value, budget for the reduced project is not expected to exceed $60,000,000.
