Scope consists of light rail transit extension. TIMELINE: Pre-planning phase of the TRPAP (Transit Rail Project Assessment Process) has been completed by the city of Brampton. The provincial government designated this as a priority project under the Building Transit Faster Act. Metrolinx has now taken over the project with the city remaining as a major stakeholder. Scope of work, including preferred option is under review. Further update may be available early 2026. Budget is unreleased.
