Site work for a transportation facility in Tacoma, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
This project will add nearly 10 miles to the regional light rail system via mostly elevated tracks between Federal Way and Tacoma. The project is to include four new light rail stations in the South Federal Eay, Fife, East Tacoma/Portland Avenue and Tacoma Dome areas. Per the owner, as of March 27, 2023, construction on this project is anticipated in the late 2020;s. The owner states that they do not have a design team or a general contractor on the project. The owner states that they will know more as the project gets closer to publishing the Draft EIS which is slated for 2024.
