Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the demolition of a playground / park / athletic field; for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field; for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
The work under this contract consists of demolition of the existing enclosed shelter building and construction of a new shelter building at Weigent Park. The demolition work includes removal of the existing building, removal of water, sewer, irrigation and electric utilities, removal of concrete pavement and fence removal. The new building includes storage rooms, bathrooms, a meeting room and roof-sheltered exterior spaces. New construction includes concrete foundations, structural steel & wood framing, an overhanging roof with wood decking, steel roofing and EPDM membrane. Interior finishes include fluid applied epoxy flooring, painted gypsum board and stained wood ceiling. Site improvements include concrete paving, reconnection of utilities and plantings. Construction administration services will be provided by HSR Associates, Inc. Pre-Qualification: Yes
