Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Apex, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a playground / park / athletic field.
Phase III completes the Master Plan for Salem Pond Park. Plans include the installation of a pre-fabricated restroom and the associated water, sewer and electrical. A restroom facility is a critical need for an active park facility. The pre-fabricated restroom is to be similar to ones the Town recently installed at the Lake Pine entrance to Apex Community Park and at Salem Middle School Park. The units come completely ADA compliant as a standalone unit. This projects also includes converting one multi-use field from natural grass to Field Turf synthetic turf to allow year round play and rentals. The project is included in the city's 2020-2024 Capital Improvement Program (CIP). As of May 9, 2022, construction is underway.
