Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Victoria, Texas. Working plans call for the construction of a 23,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; and for the demolition of a one-story above grade educational facility.

“The owner has determined a prequalified list of construction managers. The Project is for the District s Mission Valley Elementary School Bond Project. The Project is for the demolition of an existing 1-story approximately 23,000 square foot Elementary School and construction of a new 1 or 2 story Elementary School intended to serve approximately 400 students at the current location of Mission Valley Elementary School. The estimated construction budget for the Project is Twenty Million Dollars ($20,000,000.00). Construction is contingent upon certain activities being completed within a specific timeframe, which will permit the school to meet its contemplated schedule. If these activities are not completed when required, the District may not proceed with construction as anticipated. All questions regarding this invitation must be submitted in writing via email to Randall.Meyer@visd.net by 12:00 p.m. on July 14, 2022. Answers to questions will also be provided to interested Respondents in accordance with the District s Request for Proposals. The District currently plans to request the submission for the second step with a deadline of July 27, 2022. Further details are included in the District s Request for Qualifications package. The District reserves the right to reject all submissions and to waive any informalities.
