Site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and for paving for a road / highway.

* The general tender for this project is expected to be issued in mid April. Work generally consists of: - Two new operational buildings housing inlet screening, aeration systems, chemical feed systems, pumping systems, standby generators, and related mechanical, electrical and control systems; - Earthworks (300,000 m3 approximate order of magnitude volume) including cell modifications and Submerged Attached Growth Reactor (SAGR) cell construction; - Installation of cell aeration piping; - Desludging of select existing wastewater cells; - Construction of transfer structures; - Installation of approximately 6.7 km of 350-400 mm force main piping; - Maintaining existing treated effluent quality throughout construction; - Site grading and stormwater channel construction; - Roadway construction and upgrades; and - Mechanical/Electrical capacity upgrades to City sewage pumping stations. This Project is partially funded by the Governments of Canada and Saskatchewan through the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program. The City of Humboldt is seeking a qualified general contractor and major subcontractors to complete upgrades at the City's existing wastewater lagoon. The City intends to tender the project in Spring 2023 with construction to occur over a two-year period in 2023 / 2024. The value of the work is approximately $30,000,000.00 - $35,000,000.00.
