Renovation of a water / sewer project in Portland, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**As of September 5, 2019, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Replacing Pumps 1, 3, and 5 in the Multnomah County Drainage District Pump Station 1. This design consists of replacing Pumps 1, 3, and 5 with modern, energy-efficient pumps of similar capacity. New motors and variable frequency drives (VFDs) will be added to each pump with new internal station piping. The pump discharge piping internal to the station will be replaced with new piping including a pressure control valve and instrumentation for each pump. The north half of the pump station electrical room will be reconfigured to power the new pumps with a 480V feed and a new yard 480V transformer. New equipment instrumentation wiring from the station PLC panel will be provided in coordination with the Owner System Integrator.The existing Pump 4 drive will be relocated to the south half of the station electrical room and Pumps 2 and 4 will remain on the existing 2,300V power feed. Bidders must meet all Minimum Requirements as detailed in Section 00450. Liquidated Damages as detailed in Section 00800 will apply to the resulting Contract. Engineers Estimate for this project is $3,200,000 to $3,575,000. Control Number: 2069340 Protests, technical questions, requests for clarification or changes of specifications and/or bidding requirements, including substitution requests, must be received by the Procurement Analyst in writing no later than seven (7) calendar days prior the Bid Due Date. Bidders shall comply with all applicable BOLI and CCB requirements including all filing, notification, and payment requirements; retainage for payment for labor, and the filing of a $30,000 public works bond with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board. The Public Works Bond shall be obtained from a corporate surety authorized to do business in this state.
