Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Iowa City, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The Project will involve the following: 2,700 feet of 8'' and 6'' PVC water mains installed by a combination of open trench and trenchless methods; 30 copper water service lines; associated fittings, valves, and fire hydrants; 800 SY of concrete sidewalk; 500 SY of concrete and concrete/asphalt composite street paving; associated traffic control, surface restoration, seeding, etc. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance, Payment, and Maintenance Bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price Each proposal shall be completed on a form furnished by the City and must be submitted in a sealed envelope. In addition, a separate sealed envelope shall be submitted containing a completed Bidder Status Form and a bid security executed by a corporation authorized to contract as a surety in the State of Iowa, in the sum of 10% of the bid. Specified Start Date: April 14, 2025 Specified Start Date (for work on Bradford Drive): June 9, 2025 Substantial Completion Date (for work on Bradford Drive): August 8, 2025 Substantial Completion Date (entire project): September 15, 2025 Final Completion Date: September 30, 2025 Liquidated Damages: $500 per day The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and also reserves the right to waive technicalities and irregularities.
