Site work, paving and renovation of a bridge / tunnel in Simi Valley, California. Design plans call for the renovation of a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; and for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
This project includes widening/rehabilitation of the existing bridge on Barnard Street, 0.5 miles west of Stearns Street. Design is scheduled to begin in the Summer 2022. Construction is scheduled to begin in the Summer of 2023, and to be completed by Spring of 2024. Funding is from the Caltrans Highway Bridge Replacement and Rehabilitation Program. Project is included in the City of Simi Valley's FY 2022 - 2027 CIP. As of June 22, 2022, information regarding a design team and a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated in FY 2023-2024..* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
