The Project consists of furnishing and installing a new sewage force main, basemounted lift station including pumps, piping and valves, precast concrete building, sewage grinder, aeration system, electrical service, and other work as shown on the drawings and as directed in the field by the Owner. C. Major elements of the Work include the following: 1. Demolish existing pumps, piping, valves, valve vault, generator, electrical service and all associated conduit, wiring and controls as shown on the drawings. 2. Install a new force main, base-mounted lift station, precast concrete building, sewage grinder, aeration system, electrical service and all associated components. 3. Install a corrosion protection system in the existing wetwell. D. The above general outline of principal features does not in any way limit the responsibility of the Contractor to perform all work and furnish the required materials, equipment, labor and means as required by the Contract Documents. E. The Drawings and written Contract Documents are intended to indicate as clearly as practicable the work to be done. The Contractor must realize; however, that construction details cannot always be accurately anticipated and that in executing the work, field conditions may require reasonable modifications in the details of the Drawings and the work involved. Work under the Contract shall be carried out to meet these field conditions to the satisfaction of the Engineer and in strict conformance with his instructions, the Drawings, conditions and covenants of the Contract Documents in accordance with their true intent and full meaning.
