Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Fairfield, California. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; and for the construction of a 59,252-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility.

The Project scope of work includes, but is not limited to: The construction of a new Library/ Learning Resource Center building for the Solano Community College District, to be located at 4000 Suisun Valley Road, Fairfield, California. Contractor to include all labor, materials, equipment, and supplies necessary for the construction of a new approximately 59,252 square foot, 2-story building and all associated site improvements. The project also includes the demolition of the existing B100 Library building and five modular buildings and site improvements at these areas. This is a multi-phased project, and is to be completed per the phasing shown on sheet G1.41. All campus pedestrian access shall be maintained and existing buildings shall remain functional during the duration of the project. Trades include, but are not limited to; demo, concrete formwork, cast-in-place concrete, cast underlayment, structural steel, steel decking, metal fabrications, decorative metal, finish carpentry, wood case work, FRP, building insulation, metal wall panels, TPO membrane roofing, roof accessories, sheet metal flashing and trim, firestopping, joint sealants, hollow metal doors and frames, aluminum door and window frames, overhead coiling doors & grilles, storefronts, door hardware, glazing, gypsum board, tiling, acoustical panel ceiling, resilient flooring, tile carpeting, wall coverings, painting, visual display boards, signage, plastic toilet compartments, toilet/bath /laundry accessories, metal lockers, bird control, window washing system, book depositories, library stack systems, stage curtains, window blinds, roller window shades, clocks, hydraulic elevators, wet pipe sprinkler system, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, electronic safety and security, earthwork, grading, planting and irrigation, hydroseeding, paving and surfacing, and utilities. Work under this Contract shall be completed by December 15th, 2021, including milestone dates. The District has entered into a Project Labor Agreement that is applicable to this Project. Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise ("DVBE") goal of three percent (3%) participation, and also a twenty percent (20%) Small, Local and Diverse Business Program (SLDBE) goals are included in this project.
