The scope of this project includes, but is not limited to, the following: Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel. As of January 31, 2024, a general contractor has been selected for this project. Contruction on this project began in November 2023 and is currently on-going. The five packages for this project will each be bid out separately. The first two packages have already been awarded to Cianbro. The next package is expected to be released in late August, with a due date of September 15, 2023, and the final package is due to be out for bid later, with a due date in January 2025. Package F: Local Approach Bridges (awarded to Cianbro) Package A: Sub-structure of the large bridge (Awarded to Cianbro) Package G: Early Procurement Bridge Steel & Machinery (Bid Due Date: September 15, 2023) Package B, C & D: Lift Towers and Remaining Work (Bid Due Date: January 2025-exact date not known)
