The Project Consists of Rehabilitation of the Existing Prestressed Concrete Adjacent Box Beam Bridge Carrying Sr 3019 Traffic Over Hazle Creek With Approach Roadway Improvements. Rehabilitation Work Includes the Replacement of the Entire Superstructure With New Prestressed Concrete Adjacent Box Beams and Concrete Bridge Deck, as Well as Replacement of the Existing Bridge Barrier With Pa 3-rail Bridge Barrier That Meets Current Standards, Repairs to the Existing Abutment Wingwall and Removal of Debris and Sediment Along the Stream Channel Beneath the Bridge. The Bridge is Located Directly Adjacent to a Norfolk Southern Railroad Crossing So Construction Will Need to Be Coordinated With Norfolk Southern, and Railroad Flagging Will Be Required. Other Work Includes Minor Roadway Approach Full Depth Reconstruction, Milling and Resurfacing, Guiderail Replacement, E&s Control Measures, Temporary Traffic Control, Signing, Pavement Marking, and Other Miscellaneous Construction Work.
