The City of Phoenix is seeking a qualified consultant team to provide Engineering services Water Main Replacement Orangewood Avenue to Northern Avenue and 12th Street to 16th Street. Services will include design and possible construction administration and inspection. The estimated cost of construction is $910,000. Section I - Project Description The project will include design and possible construction administration and inspection services for the installation of approximately 23,005 LF of Main (60 LF of 4" Main, 11,979 LF of 6" Main, 5,238 LF of 8" Main, & 5,728 LF of 12" Main), 22 FH's, 36 Cut & Plugs & 218 Service Lines (105 Parcel). SECTION II – SCOPE OF WORK The requested services may include, but are not limited to the following: • Data collection and field survey work • Preparation of base maps and initial design • Utility coordination • Preparation of preliminary, pre-final, and final plans • Preparation of Special Provisions • Preparation of preliminary and final construction cost estimates • Prepare project schedules and hold progress meetings and workshops as needed to complete the work • Provide pre-construction services including reviewing GMPs, project schedule, construction bid price, and subcontractor selection plans • Actively coordinate and communicate with Construction Manager at Risk and City staff for all related activities • Coordination with public relations personnel for design phase public outreach Questions - Questions pertaining to this selection process or contract issues should be directed to the Contracts Specialist, Julie B.
