The City of Mountain View is rehabilitating the Interceptor Force Trunk Main that runs from the Shoreline Sewer Pump Station, through the driving range/golf course to the Palo Alto Wastewater Treatment Plant. The project will rehabilitate 1,083-feet of the 42-inch interceptor force trunk main, replace the existing flanged outlet manhole adjacent to the pump station, and construct an additional downstream manhole adjacent to Michael's Restaurant. Due to continuous sewage flow, a sewer by-pass system is required to re-route the sewage around the construction area to facilitate rehabilitation. Engineer's Estimated Cost: $2,500,000 to $2,600,000 The Contractor shall commence work within fifteen (15) calendar days following the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. The Contractor shall diligently prosecute the work to completion one hundred ten (110) working days from the date of Notice to Proceed. Pre-Qualification for Bidders: Not Required Class A, General Engineering Contractor License Project Duration: 110 Work Days *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Description of project was changed from This project includes the rehabilitation of approximately 1,083 linear feet of42" interceptor force trunk main from the end of the 2015 rehabilitation efforts (Vylon Liner) to Manhole 3 (MH3). The project also includes installation ofa new manhole (MI14) and rehabilitation ofa flanged manhole outlet.
