Site work for a water / sewer project in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of December 26, 2019, this project is under construction. After Bids are opened, the Owner shall evaluate them in accordance with the methods and criteria set forth in the Instructions to Bidders. The Owner/City Council reserves the right to waive any informality or to reject any or all Bids. Unless all Bids are rejected, Award will be made to the lowest responsible Bidder, taking into consideration quality, performance and the time specified in the proposals for the performance of the Contract. The Project consists of the following major items- Approximately 15900 linear feet of 36-inch and 42-inch gravity sewer, including 46 precast concrete manholes and 3 polymer concrete manholes. - As listed in the bidding documents, acceptable materials for the gravity sewer lines include the following o Fiberglass reinforced polymer pipe, ASTM D3262 SN 46 o Polyvinyl chloride pipe, ASTM F679 PS 46 o Polyvinyl chloride pipe, AWWA C900 DR 25 - Approximately 260 linear feet of 36-inch gravity sewer with 60-inch steel encasement installed by bore & jack.
