The start and completion date was not determined yet. Furnishing of all labor and material for the construction of Runway 16/34 Reconstruction. The Council may consider bids at their regular Council Meeting held on Monday, May 11, 2020. Major components of the work include: bituminous pavement reclaim, bituminous pavement construction, grading, runway edge lighting installation, guidance sign replacement, drain tile installation, and pavement marking. Bidding Documents may be seen at the Issuing Office of Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. located at: 21 NE 5th Street, Suite 200 Grand Rapids, MN 55744-2601, 218.322.4500.Bidding Documents may be viewed for no cost . Digital image copies of the Bidding Documents are available for a fee of $30. Bids shall be on the form provided for that purpose and according to the Bidding Requirements prepared by Short Elliott Hendrickson Inc. (SEH ) dated April 2020. For this project, bids will ONLY be received electronically. Contractors submitting an electronic bid will be charged an additional $30 Bid security in the amount of five (5) percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. A Contractor responding to these Bidding Documents must submit to the City/Owner a signed statement under oath by an owner or officer verifying compliance with each of the minimum criteria in Minnesota Statutes, section 16C.285, subdivision 3. This Work shall be subject to minimum wages and labor standards in accordance with U.S. Department of Labor and the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the Airport.
