Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Kissimmee, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a 45,000-square-foot, three-story above grade educational facility.

Construction Manager at Risk for the Demonstration STEM High School Project. Should you have questions in regards to this solicitation, please contact: Cheryl Jessee, Supervisor of Purchasing School District of Osceola County 817 Bill Beck Blvd. Kissimmee, Florida 34744. The selected firm will provide Construction Management Services for the construction of a High Performance “Solar Ready” Building with the ability to achieve Zero Energy. The main building will be one (1) 3-story building, approximately, 45,000 SF and a central energy plant (CEP) with provisions to expand the CEP for a future/second 3-story building on a 5-acre Greenfield site. The site plan will include provisions for a future/second 3- story building on the Neo City Campus located at 200 NeoCity Way, Kissimmee, FL 34744. The 500-student station building, will include standard high school classrooms with interactive technology, four (4) high-tech Science Labs with shared space, restrooms,circulation, etc., typical per State Requirements for Educational Facilities (SREF). The building will include an Administration area with six (6) offices, a reception area, and conference room. The school will be designed to provide an immersive learning environment for students with rigorous learning opportunities while employing highly collaborative 21st century learning concepts focusing initially on advanced manufacturing, biomedical engineering and cyber security while simultaneously providing a university research component to develop and enhance best practices in STEM education. In addition to supporting an immersive learning environment, the design will support a 21st century furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) package at various collaboration laboratories that will serve to promote human/machine learning connections and entrepreneurship incubator concepts. Construction Notice to Proceed: September 1, 2018 Substantial Completion: June 30, 2019 Final Completion: September 30, 2019 Final Closeout: October 30, 2019 The Construction Budget for this Project is $10,000,000.00 Shortlist Confirmed.
