This project includes the exterior and interior renovation of the existing historic 29,000 SF four-story building. The work generally includes the following major categories of work: 1. Selective demolition, stone masonry restoration including patching and Dutchman work, masonry repointing, and ornamental metal restoration. 2. Removal and disposal of existing materials removed or demolished. 3. Temporary facilities as required for the project including building scaffolding and protection of the existing building. 4. Building exterior: Exterior envelope is brick and stone masonry. 5. Interior construction: The renovation work includes historic wood window restoration stone restoration and masonry cleaning. 6. Restoration of interior building fabric including flooring and plaster. 7. Gypsum board walls and ceilings, wood doors, wood trim, and other new architectural finishes, new mechanical, new electrical systems and lighting, new plumbing and fire protection throughout. The work may involve, but is not limited to,programming and schematic design,schematic design budget estimating, detail design development, construction documents, construction administration, and other associated services The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
