Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Gloucester, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a casino; for the construction of a 150,783-square-foot, seven-story above grade, 178-room hospitality development; 2,500-seat theater / auditorium; restaurant; and for site work for a 2,234-space sidewalk / parking lot.
Construction of a seven-storey hotel addition with 176 suites, approx. 1,600 new slot machines, 50 gaming tables (+/-) as well as an auditorium (which will be called the Hard Rock Live) with approx. 2,500 seats (Phase One). Project also includes modernization and internal renovations to the existing casino and redesign of the parking area (Phase Two). There will also be the addition of four new restaurants. TIMELINE: Yallowega Architecture has taken over design, company details are unavailable. Construction is expected to be completed in two phases; Ground breaking ceremony is scheduled for June 6, 2023. Construction has commenced on site. Sub trades tenders have closed; awarded trades will be selected from the existing submissions; NO exceptions. *Engineering team has been secured; details have not been released. *Project has been estimated at 318 million (+/-). *The Hard Rock Casino Ottawa partnership consists of HR LP Investor Inc (owned by Hard Rock International) and RCR Investor Inc (owned by Rideau Carleton Raceway Holdings Ltd).
