Paving, new construction, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Bettendorf, Iowa. Working plans call for the construction of a fitness / recreation center; playground / park / athletic field; and for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

As of May 4, 2023, an architect and a general contractor have been selected. A timeline for construction is set to begin June 2023 and be completed by June of 2024. The closed solicitation has been included below for reference. The Landing consists of three project proposals – a community water park, a versatile ice rink, and a unique recreational center. Bettendorf had dealt with being forced to close its water park, Splash Landing, to most of the public summer 2022. Under the plan, the city looks to consolidate and replace the city-owned Life Fitness Center, Herbert Goettsch Community Center and Splash Landing. The amenities being considered in the recreation/community center includes gym space, community space, three indoor basketball courts, a second-floor track and a fitness center as well as office space, a gathering space, locker-rooms and a board meeting area. The center would be built at what now is Splash Landing, which under the plan would be demolished once a new pool is built near Middle Park's Lowry Field. Features being considered for the aquatics center include a lap pool, lazy river, tube and body water slides, elevated slides, a leisure pool, a climbing wall and areas designated for toddlers. As of August 20, 2021, this project is in the conceptual phase.
