It is the intent of this section, along with the plans for this project, to define the work associated with the interface of the Campus Wide Facility Management and Control System to the controls provided by the Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) System manufacturer so as to minimize any duplication of control but to provide for central monitoring of the building. In addition, the system shall monitor spaces conditioned by equipment not associated with the VRF system as indicated on the plans and/or provided with unitary control. The Facility Management and Control System (FMCS) Contractor shall furnish and install a building automation system, incorporating direct digital control(DDC) for energy management, equipment monitoring and control specifically interfaced to the automatic temperature control system that is provided as a part of the variable refrigerant flow system as herein specified and as indicated on the plans. The system shall include all required computer software and hardware, controllers, sensors, transmission equipment, system workstations, local panels, conduit, wire, installation, engineering, database and setup, supervision, commissioning, acceptance test, training, warranty service.
