Renovation of an educational facility in Mount Vernon, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Each proposal must be accompanied by security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the bid, in the form and subject to the conditions stipulated in the Information to Bidders. All proposals must be enclosed in sealed envelopes which are clearly marked on the outside with the following information: Mount Vernon City School District - Bid B18-24 Alterations to the AB Davis School Mt. Vernon STEAM Academy and should indicate the Contract for which the Bid is being submitted. No Bidder shall withdraw their bid within forty-five days (45) after the formal opening thereof. No phone, fax or email proposals will be accepted. The School District is not responsible for delays by any delivery service, the internal mail delivery system of the School District or any other means of delivery employed by the Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in any proposals, or to reject any or all proposals or to accept the proposal which, in the Board of Educations judgement, is in the best interest of the School District. The accepted low bidder(s) will be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond. The pre-bid walk-through is highly recommended in order to fully understand the project requirements. To arrange for a site visit, contact Nick Furtado from Savin Engineers at 914- 490-9161. Optionally, in lieu of digital copies, a CD may be obtained directly from REV upon a deposit of Fifty ($50.00) Dollars for each CD. Checks for deposits shall be made payable to the DISTRICT, Mount Vernon City School District and may be uncertified. All bid addenda will be transmitted to registered plan holders via email and will be available at the above referenced website. Any bidder requiring hard copies of the documents shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all printing, packaging and shipping costs. Plan holders who have obtained CDs or hard copies of the bid documents will need to make the determination if a CD or hard copy of the addenda are required for their use, and coordinate directly with the printer for hard copies of addenda to be issued. The bid deposit for CDs will be returned only if the CDs are returned to REV, in good condition, within thirty days of the bid opening. *As of February 27, 2019, no changes have been made to the bid date and no addenda have been issued.
