Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Concord, North Carolina. Conceptual plans call for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for site work for a road / highway.

The design for the Coddle Creek Greenway will be completed by Engineering, and then the development will be done in three phases. Phase I: Includes greenway within Dorton Park along Coddle Creek, connectivity downstream to Poplar Crossing, and a bridge connection to the multi-use path along the south side of Poplar Tent Road, approximately .75 miles at $2 million per mile plus bridge costs. The project then extends the trail to Weddington Road and provides a multi-use path along Weddington Road to George Liles Parkway. Cost estimates for this work is approximately 1.45 miles at $1.7 million per mile as identified in the Open Space Connectivity Analysis (OSCA). As of November 24, 2025, this project is included in the City of Concord's Fiscal Year 2026-2030 Budget. Funding for construction of Phase 1 is allotted for FY 2029-2030. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
