Site work and paving for a road / highway in Medford, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project is located at the intersection of Crater Lake Avenue and Owen Drive within the City of Medford and Jackson County, Oregon. This project includes all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to construct signal improvements and approximately 350 feet of street improvements at the intersection of Crater Lake Avenue and Owen Drive. City of Medford will furnish signal poles, mast and luminaire arms, pedestrian poles, bolts and plates in accordance to Special Provision 00160.30. Pay items include, but are not limited to the following: general excavation; sub-grade geotextile; storm sewer pipe; storm sewer manholes; concrete inlets; aggregate base; cold plane pavement removal; ACP paving; curb and gutter; concrete walks; new sidewalk ramps; truncated domes; thermoplastic striping; pavement legend; remove and reinstall existing signs; pole foundations; 42 inch diameter signal support drilled shaft; refurbishing and reinstalling existing illumination systems; traffic signal installation; detector installation; interconnect system A Bid Bond to like effect and amount with a corporate surety will be acceptable for this project. Bids must be in writing and signed by or on behalf of the bidders. All Bidders shall be prequalified with the City of Medford, as provided by law under Oregon Revised Statutes, at least 5 days prior to opening of bids. All of the provisions of Section 279C.800 through 279C.870 ORS, as amended by Senate Bill 477, relating to wage rates to be paid on all contracts for Public Works in this state must be complied with and the statement attesting to the contractors willingness to do so must be signed and submitted with the bid. All bidders must state at the appropriate place in the bid documents, whether or not the bidder is a resident as defined in ORS 279A.120. A percentage increase, as determined by the Department of General Services, will be added to nonresidents bids for the purpose of determining the lowest qualified bidder. The City of Medford programs, services and activities are open to all persons without regard to race, sex, age, handicap, religion, ethnic background or national origin.
