Renovation of a library in Boston, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The scope of work is further detailed in the specifications and includes removal, disposal and replacement of PVC roofing, insulation and vapor barrier, masonry repairs, slate and terracotta roof shingle replacement, removal, disposal and replacement of skylights. Bidders are hereby notified that bid deposits must be 5% of his/her bid, and shall be in the form of a bid bond, certified check, treasurer's check, or cashier's check and made payable to the City of Boston. A performance bond and labor and materials payment bond satisfactory to the Awarding Authority, of a surety company licensed to do business under the laws of the Commonwealth and included on the U.S. Treasury current list of approved sureties (See Circular 570), in the sum of 100% of the contract price will be required of the successful bidder.
