Tasks include the replacement/upgrades of existing lighting equipment (poles, arms, bases, conduit, pullboxes, wiring, power points, and lighting controls), along with fixture replacements/upgrades to install more energy efficient lighting (LEDs). Locations include: I-490 from I-590 to NY 96 (Exit 28), including interchanges with Penfield Rd, NY 441, East Rochester, NY 31F, NY 31, and both interchanges with NY 96; also includes lighting along NY 441. This project may be designed and documented as a green project and as a potential candidate for green bond financing. This project is included in the county's 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP).
