Planning, design and construction of improvements to the existing intersection of US 50 and Apache Avenue in the community region of Meyers in the Tahoe Basin. Improvements to include either a roundabout or an upgraded intersection and enhancements to pedestrian and bicycle facilities in the vicinity of the intersection. Project is included in the El Dorado County FY 2022 - 2042 CIP. Per the owner, as of June 11, 2024, this project was designed by in-house teams at El Dorado County DOT. The owner states that a general contractor is scheduled to be awarded on June 11, 2024. The owner states that construction is anticipated to begin in July 2024. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
