Renovation of a water / sewer project in Charlotte, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Engineer's opinion of probable construction cost developed during preliminary engineering for the Project is $20 million. Charlotte Water is accepting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from Proposers whose combination of experience and personnel will provide timely professional services to Charlotte Water for this project. Charlotte Business INClusion The City negotiates subcontracting participation for Construction Manager at Risk contracts after scopes of work are defined for design and construction services (Part G: Section 2.7 of the Charlotte Business INClusion Policy). Crowder Construction Company has committed, excluding Allowances, 8.63% ($45,500) of the total contract amount to the following certified firms: - CriTek Engineering Group (SBE, MBE) (engineering support) ($30,700) - R A Piccalo Inc., dba PicTec (SBE) (scheduling support) ($14,800) City Council will be asked to approve a construction contract in second quarter 2019.
