Smyrna, Georgia is seeking bids for a unit-price contract for the rehabilitation of an existing sanitary sewer outfall. The work on this project will include but is not limited to clearing grubbing & revegetation of approximately 6.8 acres of sewer easement, 7,410 lf of existing sanitary sewer outfall line utilizing cured in place pipe (CIPP) rehabilitation, rehabilitation of 40 existing sanitary sewer manholes, reconnection of approximately 41 existing sewer services, and other appurtenant work. TIME FOR COMPLETION: The overall time allowed for Substantial Completion for the total project is 180 calendar-days, and the time allowed for completion and readiness for final payment is 210 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. The Bidder agrees to a lump sum $1,000 per business-day for liquidated damages for each day that the project completion exceeds 210 calendar-days. This project will be constructed in one phase. Proposals must be delivered to the address listed below no later than the bid opening time and date indicated. All information pertaining to proposal number, description, bidder, and opening date must be completed on the orange label provided in the bid package and must be attached to outside of the sealed proposal. A representative of the company submitting the bid must sign bids in link. The City of Smyrna has the right to accept and/or reject any and all bids.
