Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a two-story above grade transportation facility; for the renovation of a transportation facility; and 3,000-space parking garage.
Plans call for the construction of a new terminal for the airport. As of November 3, 2020, this project is in planning. A general contractor has been assigned, but a firm construction timeline has not yet been released. Construction is expected to begin in 2021 and completed in 2023. The airport is most interested in hearing pitches from those businesses that focus on concrete, masonry, metals, wood, plastics and composites, thermal and moisture protection, doors and windows, finishes and flooring, special accessories, fire suppression systems, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communications, earthwork, landscaping, equipment and or furnishings. It's looking to provide opportunity for local businesses, contractors, disadvantaged business enterprises and others seeking business opportunities. *This project is on hold due to the public health crisis. A new timeline has not been established.
