Replace existing bridge on Denbigh Blvd over I-64 and CSX Railroad.Bridges deteriorate as they age and at some point refurbishment or replacement becomes necessary. VDOT has determined that this bridge, constructed in the 1960's, needs to be replaced. This project will improve the safety of motorists traveling on the bridge along Denbigh Blvd and those going under the bridge on I-64 as well as train traffic. With a new roadway surface, motorists should experience a more comfortable ride with less wear and tear on their vehicles As of March 27, 2019, project bid on January 31, 2019 and the owner is 61% to completion is selecting an awarded contractor.
