Demolition, site work and new construction of a library in Mound, Minnesota. Working plans call for the demolition of a 8,600-square-foot library; for the construction of a 8,600-square-foot library; and for site work for a library.
Located at 2079 Commerce Boulevard in Mound, MN, this project includes the removal of an existing 8,650 SF single-story, wood-frame building through deconstruction, salvage andconventional demolition methods. Once the existing structure is removed, a new 11,560 GSF single-story, mass-timber library building will be constructed on the site of the old building. The new library will be net-zero energy building with a geothermal heat pump system, roof-top PV solar array and a green roof. The project is registered and will comply with Minnesota Buildings Benchmarks & Beyond (MN B3) Question Deadline 11/14/2024 at 4:00 PM CT written questions.
