Structure Rehabilitation of Hwy 400/Jane St/Black Creek Drive Interchange in Toronto site GWP 2143-16-00. The scope includes rehabilitation of eight (8) bridges, five (5) retaining walls, and the rehabilitation and replacement of the Black Creek Channel at the Highway 400 and Jane Street interchange: S-N ramp Bridge over Black Creek, site 37-344; Jane St/Black Creek Bridge -Northbound & Southbound, site 37-345; N, S-S ramp Bridge over Black Creek, site 37-1077; N-N ramp Bridge over Black Creek, site 37-668; Hwy 400 Jane Street Overpass- Northbound, site 37-343/1; Hwy 400 Jane Street Overpass- Southbound, site 37-343/2; Hwy 400 Black Creek Bridge- Northbound, site 37-1055/1; Hwy 400 Black Creek Bridge- Southbound, site 37-1055/2; Highway 400- Five (5) Retaining Walls; Quadrants of Jane St Overpass bridges: Sites 37-1993/W, 37-1994/W, 37-1995/W, 37-1996/W; One (1) adjacent to site 37-668; and Black Creek Concrete Channel (approx.450 m) within MTO ROW. TIMELINE: The Consultant completed a category C Environmental Assessment. The Consultant is undertaking Detail Design of this project, in addition to providing total project management for all components such as: Bridge Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Materials Testing and Evaluation, Environmental, Foundations Engineering, Highway Engineering, Traffic Engineering and Surveying, necessary to complete the project and provide support during construction. The first tender was issued summer, 2019 as Culvert Rehabilitation on Major Mackenzie Drive between Highway 400 and Jane Street as is followed separately. Subsequent tenders have been issued for Jane St Overpass and rehabilitation of Black Creek Channel at Hwy 400. Projects will be followed individually as they are issued for tender. Coverage of this report is discontinued. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
